Description
Antique American Hand Embroidered Cushion. From a series of Days of the Week embroideries featuring 'Sun Bonnet Sue', so popular in the United States in the 30's and 40's. Here she is in her kitchen again mixing a cake and with her dog under the table. The embroidery is still fresh and bright and is mounted onto vintage French linen, finished with scarlet ric-rac and piping and backed in the same linen. The cover has an envelope opening for easy removal, is hand washable and comes complete with a quality feather pad.
