Another antique American hand embroidered kitchen sampler cushion. The cross stitched words read 'I ADD A TOUCH OF HERBS AND SPICE TO MAKE OUR FOODS TASTE EXTRA NICE'. With a red ribbon in her hair to match her dress, she's placing a pot on the stove. The piece is mounted onto vintage French linen with scarlet ric-rac, is backed in the same linen and finished with scarlet piping. It has an envelope opening for easy removal, is hand washable and comes complete with a quality feather pad.
