Description
Antique American Hand Embroidered Cushion. From a series of Days of the Week embroideries featuring 'Sun Bonnet Sue', so popular in the United States in the 30's and 40's. Here she is cleaning the windows, this time with her floppy-eared dog. The embroidery is still fresh and bright and is mounted onto vintage French linen, finished with scarlet ric-rac and piping and backed in the same linen. The cover has an envelope opening for easy removal, is hand washable and comes complete with a quality feather pad.
